Didrex Diet Pill Review

Didrex Diet Pill

Health organizations have noticed that there are more people who are obese now compared to how it was a decade ago. The percentage of these individuals has doubled in certain states making endocrinologists look at different angles to stop this trend.

The pharmaceutical industry has taken notice of this and one drug that is trying to help sufferers is Didrex.

Didrex is used to suppress one’s appetite as a result making the person lose weight. It has proven to work well for people who combine it with behavior therapy, a change in diet and exercise.  The downside of this medication is that it is only good for a short period of time since the body will resist it making the drug no longer effective.

The main chemical ingredient in this drug is Benzphetamine. This is very similar to an amphetamine. It works by increasing the person’s blood pressure and heart rate as a result decreasing one’s appetite.

If the person has problems such as glaucoma, arteriosclerosis, heart disease or high blood pressure and has a history of drug or alcohol use, then the individual is not advised to take this drug.  This is because the patient can become psychologically or physically addicted to this and it will do more harm than good in the process.

Didrex comes in 2 dosages. This comes in 25 mg and 50 mg tablets and will be issued to the patient only after a thorough examination of the person’s medical history. During this time, the patient should inform the doctor of any problems and other medications that is being used. If the person is a diabetic and is undergoing therapy or taking in insulin, changes in the dosage will have to be done.

An individual who has become dependent on this will experience withdrawal effects if the medication is stopped immediately.  It is best for the doctor to decrease the dosage gradually to stop this from happening.

Didrex may be taken once or three times a day depending on the instructions of one’s doctor. It is best to swallow it with a full glass of water and before the start of each meal.

Should the person by accident miss the dosage for the day, the individual should just follow the medication assigned for the following day and not take 2 to cover up for the day before.

People who take in more than what is prescribed by the doctor will experience panic, hallucinations, diarrhea, vomiting and seizures. If an individual sees this happening to someone, medical assistance must be called at once. Taking Didrex in the evening is not advisable since the person will experience insomnia.

A patient who operates heavy machinery and other hazardous work is advised not to engage in such activities when under medication. The individual should also limit driving when going to different places. This is for the safety of the person and the people who work with this individual since the drug will make the person feel dizzy and restless.

For women who are pregnant, it is not safe to have this medication since it has been proven to cause birth defects. Also, women should first consult the doctor if it is safe to breastfeed the infant.

Other possible side effects that a patient might experience after taking Didrex are irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure, allergies, impotence, anxiety and headaches.

Didrex should be stored in room temperature and away from heat and moisture. Given the potential of what this drug can do, it is best to keep it hidden away from children.

Should the doctor recommend to an individual the use of Didrex to fight weight loss, one should read up on the possible side effects that the person will experience during this time. If the person is willing to go through with it, then the patient should follow the prescribed dosage given by the doctor.

Obesity is a problem that can be solved. Though Didrex may provide to be a short term solution, the person may be able to maintain the weight with continued exercise and changes in the diet.

The challenge to lose weight will not be easy. With the help and support of doctors, family members and friends, the individual can overcome this and be a healthier person than ever before.
