Online diet pill market is overflowing with quick weight loss scams, fake tablets, fraudulent free trials and even hazardous pills.
Most of the companies selling such fraudulent pills do not have or disclose any office address. They are available only online, you have no clue onto who they actually are!
All “Only Available Online” slimming pills are not fake!
All those websites claiming super-fast weight loss with no side effects are mostly scams. But there are many decent companies selling genuine weight loss pills only online.
How do you know which is genuine and so can be tried?
I have listed down few points that I look into to understand whether the sellers and their pills are genuine.
- Take a deep look into their official website. Does that look professional? Are they following all the rules set by law on online marketing?
- Do they disclose ingredient formulation?
- Do they follow FTC guidelines?(link)
- Check to find out their registered office and call them on the number displayed, if any!. I sometimes use google map to check the address given by them and crosscheck with them over phone!
- Never ever buy if the phone number given doesn’t work.
- Remember, you will have to enter your personal address and card details when you purchase anything online. But if the company is fraudulent, there’s no guarantee on the safety of the details you furnish while buying.
Now let me come to RazaLEAN diet pills
Visited Razalean.com, their official website many times. First sentence itself shook my mind! It says “after 19 years of making diet products, we’ve finally created the best!”
Which are your previous diet products Mr/Ms RazaLEAN seller?
Nowhere in the website mentions their previous products, nor does it give you their physical address. It just says “after 19 years of making diet products, we’ve finally created the best!”
The phone number given in the website was not answered when we tried calling!
Only way to contact them is through email.
Following are my critical observations on RazaLEAN and its website
They ask you “Who wouldn’t love sitting at your desk and lose weight at the same time?”.
Doesn’t it look too good to be true?
- The official website just mentions too many ingredients without showing their proportions in the formulations.
- Does not show us the ingredient label.
- Without above two things nobody on the earth can know what this product actually is!
- It calls itself a three in one formula, without mentioning what it actually stands for!
- One of the ingredient Caffeine 3X energy matrix caught my extra attention as it was claiming something very odd. It says they have extracted 3 forms of caffeine to give the user a steadier experience without any energy crash! There it compares its caffeine with that of its top competitors on a graph!
- None of the claims made in the website are substantiated by citing any research studies or clinical trial reports!
- Last, but not the least, it doesn’t have privacy disclosure! It doesn’t promise to safeguard the privacy of the crucial data provided by the buyer on ordering RazaLEAN! It is completely illegal in internet marketing where you have to enter your card details. Read rules here

What’s your Take? Mine follows
Thought of reviewing the ingredients in detail, but the official website content is holding me back. Is there any use explaining each and every ingredient in detail now?
We don’t even know how much of what is there in RazaLEAN diet pills.
Still let’s have a look into its ingredients
The ingredient list shown in the official website shows all popular ingredients.
Cayenne Pepper (Capsicum) extract: Capsaicin, the active ingredient in the capsicum is known for its thermogenic effects. It is the one that makes chillies smoking hot. It’s a common ingredient used these days in diet supplements.
But if used without proper processing it can cause mouth ulcers and can adversely affect the whole digestive system.
Capsaicin is a clinically proven metabolism booster. Many clinical trials prove that Capsaicin can be a good appetite suppressant as well as metabolism booster and aids weight loss. Ref :
But the quantity of capsaicin in the Razalean formulation is not known.
Caffeine 3x energy matrix: This is another mystery in the Razalean formula.
Caffeine is another clinically proven weight loss aid. It can be extracted from many natural sources and it can even be made synthetically. A study conducted on source of caffeine used in the so called herbal supplements show that many dubious sellers use synthetic caffeine claiming that to be natural. Ref :
The Razalean website boosts itself of extracting caffeine from three sources namely Anhydrous, Citrate, & Green Tea.
It claims to aid longer and steadier energy spikes when compared to its top competitors! But, again friends, with no reference to the clinical trials or any substantiation for the claims of unique 3X caffeine formulation.
Interestingly, it doesn’t state the amount of caffeine in milligrams in the whole RazaLEAN formula. Using too much of it say more than 400mg a day can cause side effects. Using very less makes that ineffective. ref:
Kelp, a brown algae seaweed: Razalean website calls kelp a “super-food” that’s been around for at least 5 million years. But it doesn’t say where they have sourced it from and how much of it is there in the pill.
Kelp is a seaweed rich in vitamins and minerals, especially iodine. Iodine regulates metabolism to some extent. In that context, kelp is being used in slimming pills these days.
But kelp is not a very normal ingredient due to risks associated with it. Ref:
Apple cider vinegar: The picture in the Razalean page shows it as a powder. But it is normally available in liquid form. Vinegar diet became a fad sometimes back. It is said to lower bad cholesterol levels. But no data that supports such claim is available so far.
But little study online tells us that the results of supplementing apple cider vinegar for weight loss are not compelling. Ref:
L-arginine HCL: It is a bitter tasting amino acid when supplemented can provide you many health benefits. It is naturally available in dry fruits and nuts.
Rhodiola 3% Rosavins: It is a plant whose root extracts are used in traditional Chinese medicine. Here in Razalean, they don’t mention which part of the plant is used in the formulation. Even in the rhodiola there are two substances namely Salidroside and Rosavin.
Rosavin seems to be ineffective when used in isolation. It can aid fat reduction only if more of Salidroside from Rodiola root is added with just 1% rosavin .
Again no data on its proportion.
It is normally used to treat depression, mostly as a mood enhancer. Ref: https://www.webmd.com/vitamins/ai/ingredientmono-883/rhodiola
Garcinia Cambogia: It is a tropical sour tasting fruit. It said to help control blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
It is used widely in diet pills as it has a special substance called HCA (hydroxycitric acid). This appears to block an enzyme called citrate lyase, which our body uses to make fat. It also raises levels of the brain chemical serotonin, which may make us feel less hungry. Ref:
It is well known for its side effects too.
FDA has warned not to use Garcinia Cambogia as it may prove dangerous for our heart. Ref: https://www.fda.gov/drugs/medication-health-fraud/public-notification-fruta-planta-life-garcinia-cambogia-premium-contains-hidden-drug-ingredient
Raspberry Ketones: It is that substance in raspberries that gives it strong aroma. They are available in some other berries too. But extracting them from berries in too expensive.
So supplement makers use synthetic ketones. Ref: .
Rapberry ketones are used in diet supplements as they are said to increase metabolic rate and aid breakdown of fat. But there’s no scientific evidence for the same.
Turmeric Root Extract: Turmeric root powder is a common substance used in Indian cuisine. It’s again a well known home remedy for many ailments as it renders a whole lot of health benefits.
Of late, it is being used in obesity treatment too. Study reports show that it can aid weight loss. Ref:
Green Coffee Bean Extract: it is unroasted coffee bean extract. It has Chlorogenic Acid which is said to aid weight loss. It also has caffeine. Clinical studies prove that coffee bean extracts can reduce body fat and BMI. Ref: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18035001
Conclusion: We are warning you against RazaLean diet pills!
Names of ingredients shown in the website are really interesting. But reality of them being in the formulation in adequate amount is highly doubtful.
It gives us another scam warning as important data and substantiation is missing in the official website of Raza lean supplements.
